Business Service Management Symposium
Burntsand and BMC hosted a day long symposium on Business Service Management solutions; exploring the importance and value of connecting IT to business. The presentations included executive keynotes from Terry Lillico and Peter Armaly who discussed the successful 10 year relationship between Burntsand and BMC and some of the changes they see happening in the industry. Mark Marinaro discussed CMDB, the advantages and challenges in implementations. John Morton illustrated the service automation approach. Dan Gennidakis talked about ITIL V3, how it differs from V2 and how it fits into BMC's blueprint of business services and allows even more transparency in service management. Michel Ratelle showed us the advantages of service assurance and service support.
