Position Title: Account Executive

Burntsand Account Executives are responsible for introducing the firm to new clients and developing lasting relationships with existing clients and key contacts. Account Executives are involved in all aspects of the sales lifecycle, including initiating and maintaining client relationships, qualifying leads and opportunities, working with internal resources to ensure an integrated approach to customer solutions, and closing opportunities for new business while ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, a successful Account Executive will develop a level of expertise of the firm's offerings and associated strategies to then, identify how these solutions might solve customer business issues.
Skills Required:
- Proven ability to open new accounts through a variety of new business development tactics and establish long-term partnerships with key contacts at existing and new clients.
- Experienced in working with technology partners (joint account planning, joint sales pursuits)ADDED PLUS: good relationships with Microsoft.
- Strong Account Management - proven ability to drive new revenue in accounts by building relationships with key players and decision makers.
- Penetrating prospect accounts at the highest level within those accounts
- Consulting Services Sales background - Practice based sales experience helpful
- Team Selling - Can quarterback and drive a sales pursuit team
- An understanding of information technology solutions and the Solution Selling methodology are critical to success in this role.
Background:
- Candidates should have strong Professional Services/Consulting sales experience with a focus on Project based business (not Staff Augmentation) in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Life Sciences, or Biotechnology sectors and in Microsoft Technologies.
- Experience in Enterprise Wide Integration and Development of business solutions
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence, Enterprise Content Management, Collaboration, Custom Application Development
- Well-developed relationships on the West Coast
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as presentation skills
- Bachelors Degree required, preferably an MBA.
