Position Title: .NET Programmer Senior Developer

Location: Calgary

Overview:

Due to the successful relationships with our customers, Burntsand, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, is currently adding to our talented Microsoft Practice. We are looking for individuals that can think independently as well as work in a team environment to drive the successful delivery of Microsoft Technology based development projects.

We are currently recruiting for our Calgary based software development team. Occasional travel is required but most of the work is performed at our Calgary office.

We are looking for a senior / lead .NET programmer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of Lead development experience in the Microsoft technologies and in particular .NET, Windows server applications, and Microsoft Office. This position involves developing innovative new technologies for Micorsoft Office, Visual Studio 2005, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Share Point.

General Experience:

Microsoft Centric Projects - 4+ years
Overall development experience - 6+ years
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Computer Science or related field

Specific Experience:

Experience developing applications for Office required.
Experience developing XML web services in .NET required.
Experience developing complex server based applications in .NET required.
Experience with multi-threaded application required.
Experience with secure code development and testing preferred.

Development Languages:

C++ Utilized on 2+ projects or for at least 1 year
C# Utilized on 2+ projects or for at least 3 years
Microsoft T-SQL Utilized on 4+ projects or for at least 2 years

Servers:

MS SQL Server 2000 Utilized on 4+ projects or for at least 3 years
Microsoft Exchange or Biz Talk or other Office Server product for at least 1 year

Process:

UML Modeling Experience

Certifications:

Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
